Chip Elbers’ career with America’s Best Franchising, Inc. began September 1992. He currently holds the position of Vice President and COO. Chip is responsible for the Franchise Operations of America’s Best Franchising’s 3 Palms Hotels & Resorts, Budgetel Inns & Suites, Parkside Hotels & Resorts, Vagabond Inn & Vagabond Executive, Country Hearth Inn & Suites, and America’s Best Inn & Suites brands. He oversees organization and implementation of operational programs and requirements of the systems. He also directs the Quality Assurance and Field Support programs, which includes standards, brand compliance, property inspections, administration and owner/franchisee relations. In addition, Chip oversees America’s Best Franchising’s policies and standards programs, pre-opening and approval committees and directs the interactive efforts with the central reservation system and system web sites.
Chip grew up and was educated in the Daytona Beach, Florida area and began his hospitality career in the competitive Central Florida market. He is a 25+ year industry veteran. Before joining America’s Best Franchising, he held management positions in both sales and operations with various hotel brands including Comfort Inns, Holiday Inns and Days Inns. His “hands-on” style of management has allowed him to develop a strong understanding of all aspects of the hospitality industry, which assists him in successful relationship development within the company’s franchise community.
Chip resides in Dacula, Georgia with his wife, Sara. He is very involved in his community and is active in coaching youth baseball and football at Dacula Athletic Association. He is also a member of the Local School Council at his children’s Elementary School. Chip and Sara have three fantastic kids – Chanler, Tanner, and Colby.
